It might mean pulling an asthmatic, drowning potato from a wild river. But it also might mean collecting more than 25 million pounds of excess food each year to help feed New York’s Hungry.

City Harvest is the world’s first and New York City’s only food rescue organization. Each week, City Harvest helps feed more than 260,000 hungry men, women and children in New York City.
